Litwick reverse holo from The Best of XY (051/171), a Japanese compilation set released in 2017 that collected highlights from across the entire XY era. This particular Litwick is a reprint from the Fever-Burst Fighter expansion (known as Steam Siege in English), with artwork by Ken Sugimori himself, the original designer of all 151 Generation I Pokémon and the long-time art director of the franchise. Litwick is a Ghost/Fire type introduced in Generation V, based on a sentient candle. Its lore is surprisingly dark for such a cute design. According to the Pokédex, the light it produces absorbs the life energy of people and Pokémon, which it then uses as fuel. It's said to guide lost travellers with its flame, pretending to be helpful, while actually leading them deeper into danger and draining their life force along the way. It evolves into Lampent and then Chandelure, both of which continue the haunted light theme.
